“Traveler's Coffee” Helps to Hold the VIII Regional Barista Championship in Siberia
The VIII Regional Barista Championship in Siberia will be held in Novosibirsk on February 1–3, 2012. The winners will represent Siberia at the Russian National Barista Championship in Saint-Petersburg on March, 1–3.
We expect over 30 coffee professionals to arrive at the Championship. Famous and honored experts of coffee culture will be judging the contest. All the judges have been certified according to the World Barista Championship (WBC) rules.

February 1, The 1st Qualifying Round 12:00–12:20 The formal opening ceremony of the 2012 Regional Barista Championship in Siberia, introduction of the judges and participants. 12:30–15:30 Barista competition (I part) 15:30–16:00 Break. Latte-art contest for visitors. 16:30–18:30 Barista competition (II part) February 2, The 2nd Qualifying Round 12:00–14:00 Barista competition (I part) 14:00–15:00 Break. Coffee Roasting Demonstration 15:00–17:00 Barista competition (II part) 18:00 Nomination of 10 championship finalists. February 3, Final 10:00–14:00 Finalists competition 14:00–15:00 Break. Judges consultation. Coffee cupping for visitors 15:00–15:30 Nominating the winners of the Regional Barista Championship. Awarding the prizes to the winners and judges. The formal closing ceremony of the Championship.
